Pathway Steps

Unlike any other event you’ve ever attended, every aspect of the Summit is being co-actively designed to give you an experience of personal and collective transformation. First, we will prepare for the journey together. Here the pathway begins.

Participants will move simultaneously through deep, full bodied experiences which give you the same hands-on, highly experiential approach you’ve come to expect from CTI. Lock arms and intellect with your peers as you explore, question, investigate and create together; ultimately embedding in your work that which is true to you.

As we move forward together following our individually chosen pathways, we will release and rejoin in many new configurations, sharing ideas, lessons and inspiration with our fellow travelers on the way. Learn to lead and coach with a newly energized sense of mission and purpose to help humanity make a leap forward.

The Compass

“You are here.” These simple three words are a helpful way of orienting yourself when you’re looking at a map (whether you’re on a trail or in a mall!), and we wanted to replicate this device, the Compass, for the Co-active Summit. All of you is here – the good, the bad, and the ugly; the shadow and the light; and the whole IQ of you. The masks are officially off, and you are now an active participant in helping co-create the universe as we know it.

1. Awakening the Whole IQ: Transforming Reactivity into Creativity
Michele McHall
ICF CCEUs: 3
Select

Through awakening our Whole IQ, the composite of our spirit, heart, mind, and body intelligences, we have greater access to, and knowledge of, the natural gifts that shape our impact as leaders. In our rapidly changing world, it’s also more imperative than ever to have systems that support our efficiency and sustainability.

The process of Intentional Transformation™ guides us to discover and develop the natural gifts of our Whole IQ, and through it we are supported to move from fear and reactivity to greater presence and creativity.

Starting with a focus on getting people present and awake to the awe and mystery of life, and then progressing to taking and maintaining inspired action, this pathway helps participants bring concrete, clear, and effective steps to achieve their goals. You’ll leave inspired, in love with life and the interconnectedness of us all.

Select

This workshop will explore how coaches are a catalyst for generating in their clients, shifts along the adult development continuum.

Workshop participants will identify the predominant Reactive strategy that they adopted as young children in order to survive in the world of adults and how unconsciously that same strategy for better or worse continues to shape their identity as adults.

Next, participants will explore how they have marginalized into the unconscious (shadow) the behaviors they do not consider part of this identity and identify the limitations of this fractured self.

Finally, participants will turn courageously and tenderly towards the behaviors lurking in the shadow and claim these behaviours as vibrant parts of the integrated and whole self.

13. Adaptive Leadership: Overcoming Immunity to Change, Part 1
Clive Prout, Elaine Jaynes, Nancy Winship
ICF CCEUs: 3
Select

As Co-active Coaches, we partner with clients to co-create their new identity: a more conscious sense of themselves and their place in the world. Any change in identity (of individual or organization) always faces resistance. This resistance (“Immunity to Change” or “saboteur”) is a powerful system of beliefs and emotional patterns that work together to maintain the status quo.

Transformative change requires that the “saboteur” be confronted and deposed from the ruling position in our client’s lives. In this pathway, you will learn a powerful tool for overcoming the client’s “saboteur” as you and your client co-create their new identity.

Join us and learn about the points of transcendence that allow for joyful Co-active creation. Uncover the power of fundamental choice; improve your emotional state intentionally and quickly; and learn how to create a Play-to-Win strategy for you, your clients, and your organization.

Doug Silsbee
ICF CCEUs: 3

We are our genetic and experiential/cultural history. Since culture is the collective of individual interpretations and actions, individual development is a necessary pathway to any larger cultural shift.

Emerging culture, represented in microcosm by a new and distinct level of human development, comes into being as we witness and transcend identity-driven habit nature to embody fundamental connectedness through new and distinct commitments.

This pathway will explore, through inquiry and somatic practices, questions such as how are we shaped by habit? How do we become present to possibility? What might we imagine? And, how do we embody commitments that bring an imagined possibility into existence now?

26. Stop the Insanity!: On to New Thinking in a New Workplace
Lyssa Adkins, Dan Buchner
ICF CCEUs: 3
Select

Probably many would agree that what happens inside most organizations, particularly large ones, borders on insanity. While no single “answer” solves this, the ways of working we have been teaching and coaching are components to “Stop the Insanity.”

In this pathways experience, step into our world: the new workplace featuring new ways of thinking and interacting. This world exists and is becoming commonplace. The best part? It is completely compatible with the ways of thinking, working, coaching and being that CTI-influenced coaches and leaders recognize.

Come, discover how you, as agents of positive change, can leverage these inside of organizations.

ICF CCEUs: 3

In this soulful session, we will begin to unravel some of our own beliefs, myths, and fears with regard to the feminine. We will discover feelings as vibrational frequencies. We’ll laugh, cry, and be moved together as we embark on this healing journey to reclaim ourselves and our planet.
